Privacy policy: we collect as little as possible — and we tell you exactly what.

Page analytics: we run privacy-respecting site analytics that count pageviews, referrers, and basic device categories. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting. The analytics service does not see your IP address in a reversible form.

Calculator usage: when you run the fit calculator, your inputs (height, weight, room depth, etc.) are stored on your device only. Nothing leaves your browser unless you opt in to email your shortlist as a PDF.

Outbound clicks: when you click an affiliate link, we log the source page, destination retailer, product, and an anonymous (salted SHA-256 hashed) visitor identifier. No personally identifiable info, ever. This data informs which recommendations are useful and never gets shared.

If you opt in to receive your fit-check PDF via email, we store: your email address, the calculator inputs you ran, and the resulting shortlist. We use a third-party email service (Resend for transactional, ConvertKit for nurture sequences) to send the message.

We do not sell your email. We do not share it with retailers. You can unsubscribe from every email we send via the link in every email. Your data is deleted on request — email privacy@chairclarity.com with "delete my data" in the subject line.

We do not use tracking cookies. The site uses a single first-party cookie to remember if you've dismissed the affiliate disclosure banner — that's it. No advertising cookies. No retargeting pixels. No Facebook Pixel. No Google Analytics.

When you click a "Check direct price" or "Check on Amazon" link, our redirect handler logs the click and forwards you to the retailer. The retailer's site drops their own cookie at that point — we don't control that and can't see it. Refer to the retailer's privacy policy for what they collect after the redirect.

Outbound click logs are retained 24 months hot, then aggregated and the raw rows are purged. Email subscriber data is retained as long as you're subscribed, plus 90 days after you unsubscribe (so we can suppress re-sends).

You have the right to know what we've collected, to receive a copy, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email privacy@chairclarity.com and we'll respond within 30 days. California, EU, and UK residents have the explicit rights granted by CCPA / GDPR / UK-GDPR; we honor those for everyone.
