Independent massage chair buyer advisory. No paid placement. No fake hands-on claims.
What we do
We track 54 verified massage chairs across 7 brands. For each chair, we maintain a structured record of body fit (height range, weight limit), room fit (recline clearance, door minimum), warranty term, seller of record, and direct-vs-Amazon trade-offs. Every value is sourced from manufacturer spec sheets or manuals — not marketing copy.
Buyers run our fit calculator, which scores all 54 chairs against their verified body, room, and budget. The result is a personal shortlist — 3 chairs that actually fit, with the ones ruled out and the reasons why.
What we won't do
- Rank by commission rate.
- Fake hands-on testing. Where we've sat in a chair, we say so. Where we haven't, we say that too.
- Make medical claims. Massage chairs are comfort devices. Pain, mobility, and clinical conditions belong with a clinician.
- Recommend low-trust private-label SKUs because the affiliate payout is high.
- Hide affiliate disclosure. It sits above every comparison table.
- Publish chairs with vague or missing warranty info.
Who's behind the site
ChairClarity is run by a small team of independent researchers and editors. We do not represent any massage-chair manufacturer or retailer. Where pages touch back pain or other health-adjacent topics, we add a medically reviewed byline and primary citations — see our methodology for details.
The lead researcher's byline appears on every article. Where applicable, a contracted medical reviewer's name and credentials appear on YMYL pages. Both are documented in our methodology page.
